- I'm on the internet all the time anyway, so I might as well make THAT my day job!
- I want to be able to read and write and link and comment to my heart's content -- without anyone telling me to get back to work. Because, hey, that'd be MY work!
- It'd be fun to work alone and have control over my life for a change.
- I'm excited by the idea of focusing purely on topics I like.
- I'm tired of the commute.
- And I always wanted to go to work in shorts and a t-shirt.
- And I've always wondered how it would be like to work out of an internet cafe -- just like those guys I see all the time at Starbucks and Seattle's Best.
- It'd let me have an excuse to wake up late -- but then, I'd never again be actually LATE.
- I've been fiddling with Adsense anyway and now's good a time as any to see if I can make it really work.
- They can do it in other countries, why can't I do it here?
